World's Biggest Coffee Morning

We're taking part in the World's Biggest Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan, the cancer research charity. We're inviting you to join us at our offices in Manchester as well as at the Broderick's coffee house at Manchester Airport on Friday 25 September. We'll be pouring coffee, brewing tea, munching freshly baked cakes, and having a chat. Most importantly, we'll be making a donation to Macmillan. We hope you can join us!

Workers shun coffee shops in favour of vending machines

Cash-strapped and time-pressured workers are shunning trips to high-street coffee shops in the recession, opting instead for office vending machines, according to an article in The Guardian today. Workers are choosing to stay in and have a 50p drink instead of leaving the office for a £2 drink at the big coffee chains.

Whisky 'n' Soda Vending Machine

This 1960s vending machine served up a tasty whisky and soda in a jiffy. I guess they died out when drinking hard liquor in the workplace became less socially acceptable. (Those were the days!) Just the thing to install in the office to make the afternoon meetings a little more enjoyable.
