Some of our staff at Broderick's coffee house did a bit of celeb spotting when the Manchester United squad passed through on their way to a Champion's League match in Europe. Alex Ferguson, Paul Scholes and Michael Owen were just a few of the faces tempted by our famous Bacon Butties at Manchester Airport's Terminal 2. See below for more photos.
So you might have heard that we joined in the world's biggest coffee morning last week in aid of the cancer charity Macmillan's. Well, the event was a fun-filled success. We raised a bunch of money for a good cause and had a lot of fun doing so. Want to see some photos?
This bright September morning we are happy to be taking part in the world's biggest coffee morning, where people all over the world are going to take time out, have a cuppa, and feel good vibes. It's all in aid of the cancer charity, Macmillan, who we support wholeheartedly. Aren't these cupcakes just adorable? They're decorated with the "Broderick's Love" heart and the Macmillan "Feel Good" cup, and they taste like heaven. Anyhoo, we've organised a fun morning of activities at the Broderick's flagship coffee shop at Manchester Airport's T2. It all kicks off at 4am when we will have a string quintet playing soothing classical music to greet the early risers and yawning, red-eye flyers. The music may pick up speed after the sun rises and we start serving tea and cakes, as well as our famed capuccinos. Our baristas will be showcasing their coffee-art making skills all day long and will offer free classes for customers. We're also hosting a lotto to win a brand-new Wii console. So, friends, enjoy this morning. It's all about feeling good!

We're inviting you to join us at our offices in Manchester as well as at the Broderick's coffee house at Manchester Airport on Friday 25 September. We'll be pouring coffee, brewing tea, munching freshly baked cakes, and having a chat. Most importantly, we'll be making a donation to Macmillan. We hope you can join us!
Cash-strapped and time-pressured workers are shunning trips to high-street coffee shops in the recession, opting instead for office vending machines, according to an article in The Guardian today. Workers are choosing to stay in and have a 50p drink instead of leaving the office for a £2 drink at the big coffee chains.
The new Broderick's coffee house in the Terminal 2 Departures Lounge is already proving popular with passengers waiting to board their planes. Next time you're flying out of Manchester, why don't you grab a take-away coffee while you browse the Duty Free shops? You're also more than welcome to sit down with a slice a cake and watch the world go by, as you prepare to fly.
We are moving! Thanks to the continued growth of Manchester Vending, we have out grown our premises and are delighted to announce the opening of our new flagship premises in Sharston Business Village, Manchester.
“It’s the same local family business we inherited from our Dad twenty years ago with the same values,” says John Broderick, “but we’ve grown and matured into one of the biggest independent vending companies in the country. Our new premises gives us room to grow even more!”
Despite its name, Manchester Vending does not just operate in Manchester. With national contracts across the country with companies such as Siemens, APCO, The Mirror Group and the Co-Operative, this move will help us further improve our service to all our customers, local and national.
